Overview


The UNICEF StartUp Lab is a 6-month accelerator programme under the “KOICA-UNICEF Accelerating Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Ghana Project.” The initiative aims to enlist 5 startups from each of the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern regions of Ghana, forming a cohort of 25 participants.

Selected startups should have a focus on technology, operating in sectors such as Health, Education, Urban Services, WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), Climate Action, Child Protection, Finance, Agriculture, Blockchain, and other cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML and Cybersecurity.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Your startup has been operational for 1+ year
  • Your startup is a registered business
  • Your startup has a business model with a social impact that addresses at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals
